Functions: In Ayurveda, shatavari root literally translates to “woman with a 1,000 husbands”. It is commonly used by herbalists to support women’s reproductive health*, support fertility*, balance hormones*, stimulate menstrual cycle* and general immune wellness*. Shatavari is the feminine counterpart to Ashwaganda, it is said to have adaptogenic and aphrodisiac properties*.
